TheNFLplayersunionhassetupanorganizationtohelpformerplayers,establishingitoutofa$22millionfundfromthecollectivebargainingagreementwiththeleague.SuchanorganizationcreatedbytheNFLPlayersAssociationwascalledforbyformerplayersforyearsbeforetheCBAwasreachedin2011.It'sfinallyhere.CalledTheTrust,NFLJerseysFromChina,thegroupwillassistplayersinareassuchasbrainandbodyevaluations;healthandnutrition;physicalfitness;careertransition;andfinancialeducation.Alloftheseserviceswillbeprovidedwithnoout-of-pocketcoststotheplayer.
